We\u2019re all for saving money, but we also live in the real world.\n    <\/p>\n<p>During a no-spend challenge, you\u2019re still covering your\u00a0Four Walls\u00a0(food, utilities, shelter and transportation) and other necessities. But you\u2019re saying no to all the extras. Eating out at restaurants? Nope. Starting up polka-swing-fusion dance lessons? Not this month.\n    <\/p>\n<p>Think of it like a budget reset. You aren\u2019t dropping all fun forever\u2014you\u2019re just pressing pause as you focus on saving money. Set a savings goal.<\/h3>\n<p>With any monthly savings challenge, you need a reason\u2014a goal\u2014to keep you disciplined. So, what\u2019s your goal for your no-spend month? Maybe you want to pay down your debt or save up for a big purchase.\n    <\/p>\n<p>If you have a certain number you\u2019re wanting to save, write it down. The more specific your goal, the better. Then, see the areas where you can cut spending.\n    <\/p>\n<p>Any subscriptions you don\u2019t use? What services can you skip this month (nails, haircuts, massages)?
